I've always had a personal interest in entrepreneurship and start-ups. In 2008, at the height of the financial crisis, I was put in charge of the weekly Jobs section on The Sunday Times, where we ran a weekly guide to starting businesses for people who were retrenched from their jobs.
Shortly after joining The Business Times, I contributed cover stories on start-up-related phenomena such as co-working spaces and short-term room rentals, and profiles of rising entrepreneurs for the newspaper's glossy SME magazine.
